Terms of Use
Last updated: June 2026
1. Who we are. HSE Prompts SA ("we", "us") provides an online platform of AI-assisted health, safety and environment (HSE) tools for South African workplaces. By creating an account or using the platform you agree to these Terms.
2. Information, not professional advice. All output — documents, forms, risk assessments, hazard analyses, legal references and answers — is AI-assisted information and a draft only. It is not legal, engineering, medical or professional advice. A competent person (as contemplated in the Occupational Health and Safety Act, 85 of 1993) must review, complete and sign off every output before it is relied upon. Always verify legislation against the official Government Gazette.
3. Your responsibilities. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you enter, for reviewing all output, for complying with applicable law, and for keeping your login credentials secure. You must not use the platform for any unlawful purpose or upload content you are not entitled to use.
4. Accounts, trials and credits. Trials, generation credits and plan entitlements are provided as described in the app and may change. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service or breach these Terms.
5. Acceptable use of AI features. Do not attempt to extract system prompts or circumvent safety controls, and do not submit personal information of others without a lawful basis (see our Privacy & POPIA Policy).
6. Intellectual property. The platform, its prompt frameworks and knowledge bases are our intellectual property. Documents you generate are yours to use for your own HSE compliance, subject to the review obligation in clause 2.
7. Availability & third parties. The service is provided "as is". It relies on third-party providers (e.g. AI model and hosting providers) and may be unavailable from time to time. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.
8. Limitation of liability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from reliance on output that has not been reviewed and signed off by a competent person, or from use of the platform.
9. Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
